MIT is a 15-20 minute cab ride (~$33) from Logan International Airport.  Public transportation is readily available starting at $2.65 per ride from the airport to MIT, which has its own MBTA subway station.

Amtrak has three local stops (South Station, Back Bay, North Station), making it accessible by train from many other cities.

Buses run daily between New York City and Boston starting at $15 1-way, connecting two of the biggest cities in the Northeast.

  1. Hi– I’m wondering if there will be parking available on campus Friday afternoon and Saturday for the MELUS conference. Also, in what building will we find registration and the conference sessions? Thank you!

    1. Hi Beth,
There is limited parking available at MIT’s campus. We recommend checking with your hotel about parking arrangements and availability. Information about registration can be found here: -CJ
